Party Art Started over 15 Years Ago

Abbey (artist/owner) has always loved Crafts. From Room Mom, to Vacation Bible School Craft leader, to Sunday School teacher, to the friend who was always asked to help decorate. In 2010, Abbey’s oldest daughter was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. The cost of groceries for her family increased about $200, the first shopping trip. One day, Abbey was at a boutique and saw a burlap football door hanger, priced at $50. She had double doors, so she needed two. With the increase in her families grocery costs, she couldn’t justify spending that money. She came home and made two door hangers out of linoleum flooring. They were football door hangers and aDOORable!!! She texted a picture of them to her friend who worked for a big corporation, and her friend sold 10 for her by the end of the day. They were $20 each, so, that was the amount of money her families grocery bill had increased. God Provided.

A few friends had asked Abbey to come to their homes and churches to host painting birthday parties for their children, and the love grew from there.

She worked in her basement, for several years, making custom door hangers, she traveled all over Alabama and painted with women’s groups, children’s birthday parties and Companies for Team Building.

The urge to open a small location, where people could come and celebrate different occasions, while creating something beautiful for their home began. After looking all around Shelby County, Alabama for a location, the First Party Art Studio was Opened in Helena, Alabama.

Party Art has been a Brick and Mortar location for 10 years now. We’ve served thousands and thousands of people. We offer Children’s Birthday Parties, Company team Building, Girls Night Out, Tea Parties, Summer Craft Camps, MANY Custom Order Options…….Abbey can make, paint, engrave, or build just about anything.
